From an intimate dining experience to a convivial gathering, Carey’s Bay historic hotel has much to offer with options a plenty of space and atmosphere.
Have a pint in our bar, warm your cockles by the fire in our cosy lounge, soak up the atmosphere of our spacious conservatory, meet in the snug, catch the sea breeze on the terrace or hang out in the courtyard with mates on a sunny day, whatever you choose we have heaps of room!
Our cheerful public bar is full of local flavour. On offer are stunning views from the window seating of Carey’s Bay and the marina. The two open open fires provide a warm and cosy place to eat and drink after a brisk walk. In the evenings you can join the locals at the bar-leaners. The walls of the bar are hung with work from artists who live in the harbour and costal areas.
The lounge seats up to 30 people. This cozy relaxed area is ideal for larger family dinners with plenty of room for children to move around in.
This space is especially good in the winter with its warm fireplace and comfortable couches.
It is also good for informal gatherings and can be booked without worrying about any formal dining arrangements.
The Conservatory seats up to 50 people for a meal and drinks.
The conservatory is heated and is used all year round.
Hire costs, if any, are negotiable in relation to the type of function and per person spend.
A long luxurious room with views of the bay can seat up to 14 at one table. Ideal for a special family lunch or dinner or small function.
The snug is also available through the week for business meetings for a whole day hire of $100 plus coffees, morning tea, lunch and drinks. An earlier start is available for day hire.
Weather permitting, the terrace of the building offers small tables along the front of the building. An very social spot with superb views of Carey’s Bay and the Marina.
